BIGGER RIM AND TYRE ON BAJAJ PULSAR 180 UG3

This custom modification has applied on 2008 Bajaj Pulsar 180 UG3. Parts were modified is the rims, tyres and swing arms. Modify begin from replacing original rims. I'm using a brand-new aftermarket part V-Rossi, it comes with aluminium sizes 3 inch front 4,5 inch rear. Its 17 inch rims have a same size of wheels. Second, both tyres change to a Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro, those were used tyres that I bought with a cheap prizes. It tyres bigger than original, front 120/70 and rear 180/55. Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro is a track day and competition summer tyre, created with compound rubber materials. It has a rubber which burnt quick on the road surfaces. No matter it version of compounds, these tyres should fitted on bike. Just remember to prepare an UG4/200 swing arms from Pulsar, it's because a swing arms UG3 was built for a medium tyre sizes. And we need it as wide to fit with large tyres.

Last part that changed was a 300 mm disc brake. Most brand-new rims integrated with disc brake. If all custom parts has changed on its position, last thing that we haven't forget is repositioning front sprocket to be exactly on same levels with rear sprocket. Modify rim and tyre also customise the bearings, seals and bolt many more. Finally, this bike looks refined and muscles, because rim and tyre completely big. I am worrying bike weighing during its customised. But after its got tested and compared, rim and tyre are definitely lighter than its original. It depends on how you choose part materials to put on this bike. Just keep in mind what necessary and unnecessary during the customise. Currently I am happy with this custom bike.

    1. Bengkelnya waktu itu ada 2, mj motor di kebayoran lama untuk order barang dan pemasangan...terus baru ke bbike di warung buncit buat finishing.

    1. Gear gk berubah bro, karet tromolnya aja yg diganti pake karet tromol vixion, oya karena lingkar dalam velg v.rossi vixion ini agk kecil jd tromol dalam pulsar dipapas sedikit biar rapat dgn velgnya.

  9. bro.. klo g salah arm untuk p180ug4 itu sama kaya p220 ya?
    nah klo arm itu mentok/optimalnya pake ban&velg ukuran brp y?

    klo g salah ane dulu prnah disaranin klo mo pake velg aftermarket utk p220 pake punya nya Scorpio aja... cz paling mendekati alias mirip jd g trlalu byk ubahan..itu bener g bro?

    1. arm ug4 sama dgn p220, bedanya cuma ada dudukan buat braket disc brake di arm p220. kalau dibilang optimal, bisa samapai velg ukuran 5.5inch ukuran ban 200 :) dan memang benar untuk velg aftermarket kebanyakan pakai punya scorpio, persis seperti yg saya pakai (diatas tertulisnya vixion)...

  10. Bro..kalau Pulsar 180 UG3 diganti ke arm kotak pulsar 180 UG4 atau 220, ada perubahan2 yang harus diakalin atau diganti ga bro, semisal tuas rem blkg kependekan atau apalah, soalnya ban yang dipasangnya kan bertapak lebar

  11. mas bro..saya kan pasang velg axio u/ old vixi di UG3 ane..kendala di sensor speedo nih..ada solusi gak ya? FYI : lebar rumah speedo pulsar lebih banyak drpd vixi,bentuk daleman velg juga beda

    1. untuk rumah speedo ug3 harus diganti dengan rumah speedo dari versi ug4 atau 200, dan harus menambah jumlah ring pada bagian dalamnya.
