BATPOD STREET CUSTOM
Batpod Street Custom. Sketch illustration by Morukai (2013) This concept bike processed with digital painting techniques inspired by the Batpod from Batman Dark Knight. Batpod in Dark Knight movie is a mean machine bike, aggressive look but still an attractive bike. Equipped with fully armours with suspension capability to swing and rotates 360 degrees that built from destructive Batmobile. And this is the street custom of Batpod. This concept bike used a common parts from general motorcycle manufacturer. But it has a custom large front suspension which controlled from a front hub center steering, rear travel suspension with a unique shapes, large fuel tank, headlight with laser technology and huge tyres. This concept bike is lighter than it looks because of carbon material and alloy used on frame, body, muffler exhaust, suspensions, rims and brakes. What should we call this Batpod?
SKETCH OF KAWASAKI Z250
Kawasaki Z250 first announced in Jakarta early 2011. Bike enthusiasts were surprised by the naked version of Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Overall design of the Z250 is modern, muscular and well built, except the part of half fairing that looks oversized. It's covered up the most of the engine that should be exposed. So the idea of this sketch is design a custom bike with a new half fairings. First thing is remove the half fairings and replace with small tank shrouds under the fuel tank. The next step is replace suspensions with up-side down version and double disc brakes. Last, customize the swing arm and the use of an alloy materials. Kawasaki Z250. Sketch by Morukai (2013)
CARICATURE OF JEFFREY POLNAJA
This is an artwork caricature, a tribute submission to Jeffrey Polnaja. He is an Indonesian adventure rider who travelled around the world using his bike. He has experienced in any conditions or situations during the journeys. His bike been shot, trapped in a border country, crashed by truck, ride on damaged road, etc. He captured photos and videos of the journeys by himself. Sometimes when he had visited a country, he's invited to become a speaker in a workshop. In his journeys, he always bring the peace mission "Ride For Peace", and introduced Indonesia to the people. Jakarta is capital city of Indonesia with largest population. The vehicle industries growth fast too in the city. As listed globally on internet, Jakarta is the most traffic jams city around the world. Unfortunately, people on the roads never realised their bad attitudes could make it worse.
